Ralph Lauren wins British Fashion Council’s ‘Outstanding Achievement’ accolade

The US designer has been revealed as the recipient of the event's ‘Outstanding Achievement' award, WWD reports. The British Fashion Council, hosting the event, allegedly selected the fashion mogul for the creative vision and business flair displayed over the course of the 77-year-old's lengthy career. Lauren will be presented with the honor at the awards ceremony on December 5 in London, alongside the winners of nine additional categories and a series of special recognition prizes.

Star-studded 2016 Pirelli Calendar unveiled

The 2016 Pirelli Calendar has finally been revealed in full in London. The 43rd edition of the exclusive annual publication is the work of American celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz, who shot the work last July in her New York studio. From tennis ace Serena Williams to singer Patti Smith and the Hollywood actress Amy Schumer, the calendar's stars are all making waves in their industries.
