Calvin Klein to merge women’s and men’s collections for 2017 fall show

Calvin Klein will show its men's and women's collections together at New York Fashion Week reports WWD. The fall 2017 runway show will take place on February 10 at 10 am and will feature both Calvin Klein's men's and women's ready-to-wear and accessories. The highly anticipated collection will be the first from new chief creative director Raf Simons, who moved to the brand in August after heading up French fashion house Dior.

Calvin Klein snaps up ex-Dior designer Simons

US fashion house Calvin Klein on Tuesday announced the appointment of former Christian Dior designer Raf Simons as its new chief creative officer, with his debut collections set for the fall 2017 season. “As part of his role as chief creative officer, Mr Simons will oversee all aspects of design, global marketing and communications, and visual creative services,” the company announced on Facebook. Simons quit as creative director at Christian Dior last October after more than three years at the helm of the French giant.

Simons joins Calvin Klein as chief creative officer

Former Christian Dior designer Raf Simons has been appointed Calvin Klein's new chief creative officer and will debut his first collections for the fall 2017 season, the US label announced Tuesday. “As part of his role as chief creative officer, Mr Simons will oversee all aspects of design, global marketing and communications, and visual creative services,” the company announced on Facebook.

Burberry names Gobbetti as next chief executive

Burberry appointed Celine chairman Marco Gobbetti as its next chief executive on Monday, replacing Christopher Bailey who will become the British luxury fashion group's new president. Gobbetti, currently the chairman and chief executive of French luxury brand Celine, will join the board in 2017 “as soon as he is contractually able to do so”, Burberry said in a statement. Burberry announced a fall in annual net profits in May, triggering a three-year programme of cost savings totalling at least £100 million ($130 million, 117 million euros).
