Pitti Immagine Uomo honors Italian fashion legend Ciro Paone

Italian fashion entrepreneur Ciro Paone is set to be honored at the upcoming edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo. The founder of the luxury ready-to-wear and made-to-measure label Kiton will be the subject of a dedicated exhibition project, with fashion journalist Angelo Flaccavento at the helm as Artistic Director. “We at Pitti Immagine have always found Ciro Paone to be representative of friendliness, elegance, vision, and courage,” says Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine.

Kate Bosworth stars in Shopbop holiday campaign

The campaign will be broken down into weekly segments that see each of the influencers talk about their holiday plans and tips. It kicks off this week with Hale's segment “How to Get Dressed Up,” featuring some of her favorite festive pieces from Carven, Stella, and Aquazzura. On November 20, Shopbop's Fashion Director Caroline Maguire will offer a lesson in “How to Gift Your Friends and Family,” before designer Jonathan Adler gives a master class in “How to Holiday Décor” a week later.

Dov Charney to launch new fashion brand

The brand, which will focus on basics for men and women and be entirely US based, sounds remarkably similar to American Apparel, from which Charney was fired in 2014. “What's important to us now is we're able to form this new venture and put Dov at the helm and we're going to do basics again,” Hagan told WWD.

Is Hedi Slimane about to leave Saint Laurent?

Hedi Slimane could be set to part ways with fashion house Saint Laurent, if rumors are to be believed. Sources predict that Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello, currently creative director of Versace's Versus line, could be poised to fill Slimane's shoes. Slimane has been at the helm of Saint Laurent since 2012, following a five-year hiatus from the fashion industry to pursue photography.

Saint Laurent heads to the Hollywood Palladium for Fall 2016 runway show

Saint Laurent is heading to Los Angeles to present its Autumn/Winter 2016 collection. Part one of the men and women's collection will go on show at the city's legendary dance venue, the Hollywood Palladium, on February 10, the week of the 58th Grammy Awards (taking place February 15). Part two of the collection will be showcased in the traditional context of Paris Fashion Week on March 7.
