Givenchy childrenswear to launch next year

Riccardo Tisci is to launch Givenchy childrenswear, reports WWD. According to Givenchy, Tisci will produce two collections a year, each with around 60 pieces for girls, 40 for boys and 30 for babies, with a label reading “Givenchy Paris” framed by black stars. Tisci is no stranger to childrenswear, having already designed bespoke pieces for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter North and Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy, including custom T-shirts and couture gowns.

Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow to Exit DKNY

DKNY creative directors Maxwell Osborne and Dao-Yi Chow are to leave the, brand reports WWD. The pair will exit the label at the end of the year in order to concentrate on their own brand Public School. The news comes not long after the sale of DKNY and its parent company Donna Karan International (DKI) to G-III Apparel Group, with the co-creative directors commenting in a statement, “Given the company sale and subsequent change in strategies, we have decided to step down and focus on our own business Public School.

Brazil’s Gisele holds top spot in Forbes model list; Jenner jumps

(Reuters) – Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen remained the highest-paid female model in the world with annual income of $30.5 million, while Kardashian clan member Kendall Jenner more than doubled her earnings, according to Forbes' 2016 list on Tuesday. Jenner, 20-year-old member of reality TV's Kardashian family, tied for third, up from 16th the prior year, and she was the biggest gainer on the 2016 list.

Palestinian designer for rich and famous pops up in W.Bank

Rami Kashou's designs are worn by Hollywood stars and royalty but for the past few days he has been back home in the occupied West Bank rather than London, Paris or New York. As on most days, Yasser Arafat Square in central Ramallah was crowded with pedestrians, taxis with screaming horns and fruit sellers lugging their goods on carts. The US-based fashion designer has a list of celebrity clients including Hollywood actress Jessica Alba, reality TV star Kim Kardashian and Queen Rania of Jordan.
