The French fashion house has launched a lifestyle portal called CdMdiary by Caroline de Maigret, narrated by the producer and model. Caroline de Maigret and Chanel go way back. The model, who flies the flag for chic French style all over the world, first took to the runway for Karl Lagerfeld in 1998, presenting the spring/summer ready-to-wear collection.

In the men's spring collection for Dior, Robert Pattinson is photographed in a black and white ad campaign against the backdrop of a Parisian night. Shot by Karl Lagerfeld, the Dior Homme collection features Pattinson in a biker jacket, tuxedo, and suit, one embroidered with lily-of-the-valley motifs. The collection was overseen by Dior creative director Kris Van Assche and the campaign is meant to evoke film noir.

Spring 2017 might mark the beginning of some ultra-modern trends. On Tuesday, Chanel debuted its Spring/Summer 2017 collection, in which the label's classic tweed suits got a robotic update thanks to some truly futuristic accessories. The show opened with two models dressed in black and white suits and topped with futuristic helmets, collars, mittens and shin guards. Dubbed the Cocobot on Instagram, this robotic look transitioned quickly into throwback trends such as side ponytails, baseball caps and lots of peach blush. The theme might have been the digital age, but the beauty look at Chanel's Spring/Summer 2017 ready-to-wear show in Paris Tuesday was a nostalgic throwback. This was mainly achieved thanks to the hair — Karl Lagerfeld's models strutted down the catwalk wearing their hair tied in low-slung side ponytails held in place with colorful hair elastics bearing charm forms of the brand's iconic 'C' logo. As well as calling to mind some of the best TV shows from the 1990s, the style also made space for a crucial accessory — baseball caps worn chirpily sideways.

Milan Fashion Week brought a lightning bolt of color and fun to the Spring/Summer 2017 shows — a refreshing change after the conservative and low-key approach to the season that we saw in New York. Karl Lagerfeld fed the trend for fun and games at Fendi, where Gigi Hadid and the rest of the models sported winged eyeliner and a glittery pout that resulted in a striking, sequin-like effect. Miniature top knots made things interesting at Diesel Black Gold, while Fendi debuted pigtails and ruler-straight schoolgirl bangs and pastel hair shades kept things sweet at Ermanno Scervino.

With the help of superstar models Gigi and Bella Hadid, Karl Lagerfeld on Thursday unveiled his vision of what stylish young women will be wearing next summer: glitter lips and big pants that everyone can see. The veteran German designer's latest work for Fendi was a playful affair — or “decorative opulence twisted with an athletic elan,” as he put it in his notes to the Roman house's 2017 Spring/Summer collection. Tennis champion Serena Williams provided some sporting star power to the front row, chatting animatedly with fashion Godmother Anna Wintour and veteran style correspondent Suzy Menkes.
