Vogue releases new 60s-inspired coloring book

The news continues the trend for adult coloring books and follows the success of Vogue's first coloring book released last year, which featured hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the fashion magazines of the Fifties. “For “Vogue Goes Pop” I have focused on the Sixties, a decade I experienced through my sister Mary's wardrobe as she moved from Beatnik black mohair and white lipstick, to rainbow-colored prints and piled-high hairpieces,” said Iain R. European Tour takes shorts in its stride

The European Tour took a stride towards a less formal future on Wednesday by allowing players to practice in shorts for the first time at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf championship. “The players have embraced it,” said the tour’s chief executive, Keith Pelley, said before the opening tournament of the ‘Desert Swing’ through Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Qatar. Former world number one Rory McIlroy was one who welcomed the change, in one of the world’s more socially conservative regions.

Britain to investigate modelling agencies for alleged price fixing

Britain has opened a full investigation into the country’s major modelling agencies to determine whether they fixed the prices they charge for their models, officials said on Friday. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) started an initial investigation in March into “anti-competitive arrangements”, such as whether agencies worked together to set the prices paid by retailers and brands. The competition watchdog has not named any of the agencies under investigation.
