At three minutes long, “The Tale of Thomas Burberry” is a fictionalized account of the founder's story and stars “The Revenant” actor Domhnall Gleeson as the protagonist. Directed by Asif Kapadia who won an Oscar for documentary “Amy”, the video kicks off the company's Christmas campaign and recalls Burberry's invention of weatherproof fabric gabardine. …

The “Downton Abbey” and “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies” star fronts a new advertising campaign for fragrance “My Burberry Black”. Vivienne Westwood set to merge menswear and womenswear lines in London

Vivienne Westwood has announced plans to fuse her womenswear and menswear lines under a single label. The grande dame of British fashion has announced she will present her Autumn/Winter 2017/18 collection in one show in January 2017, as part of London Fashion Week Men's. The move effectively puts an end to the practice of showing her womenswear line, formally known as the 'Red Label', and her menswear line, formally known as the 'MAN Label', separately, in London and Milan respectively. The two lines will now sit together under the name 'Vivienne Westwood'.

Burberry to collaborate with London’s Dover Street Market

Dover Street Market, a retail and concept store, is relocating to London's Haymarket in a building formerly occupied by Burberry for nearly 100 years. To celebrate the move, Burberry is bringing back 20 original waterproof coats, which will be shown off in a custom-built installation beginning Monday. The space, replete with mirrored puddles and paper clouds, will epitomize Burberry's history of protecting against the elements.

Paris concept store Colette launches Burberry playlist

Parisian retail fashion destination Colette has launched a Burberry playlist on its Apple Music channel that will be exclusively curated by the British luxury brand. The playlist will have 15 tracks by British musicians, including David Bowie and The Rolling Stones, as well as newcomers Lilla Vargen and Flo Morrissey.  It will also feature live music recorded for Burberry Acoustic and the brand's runway shows and events.
