Paris Haute Couture Week: the many sides of the Atelier Versace woman

The Versace woman has many facets — a sexy, modern, sensual and powerful woman on the go, exuding femininity in the extreme. This was captured in the label's latest catwalk show, Sunday, July 3, on the first day of Paris Haute Couture Week in the French capital. Versace has always celebrated women, but this autumn/winter 2016-2017 haute couture collection honors them in the finest of ways.

New ‘affordable couture’ website launches at Paris Couture Week

A new London-based fashion platform offering couture at “democratic prices” has debuted on the Paris Couture Week circuit, in line with the global launch of its e-commerce site. Couturissimo, designed by Asian Couture Federation (ACF) designer members Indonesia's Sebastian Gunawan and Dubai-based Filipino couturier Michael Cinco, offers limited-edition pieces from a changing roster of designers at accessible prices ranging from 170 to 800 euros. Its new website, which was celebrated via an event in the Jardins des Tuileries last night, according to fashion publication WWD, will soon add a virtual fitting room, “where customers can create their own avatar based on their measurements to test garment fits,” announced co-creative director Livia Stoianova of label On Aura Tout Vu.
