Jeremy Scott gets his own Moschino Barbie

Fashion designer Jeremy Scott and supermodel Stella Maxwell caused a stir when they rocked up together to the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards decked out in daring and vibrant outfits by Moschino. 'Moschino Barbie & Ken' sees Barbie modeling a scaled-down version of the label's black velvet and graffiti wrap Fall 2015 gown that Maxwell wore on the red carpet. Scott, transformed into Ken down to the last detail, including his blonde buzz-cut hairstyle, sports a toy version of the custom-made multicolored striped tuxedo and trousers he wore to the event, which he originally designed as a reference to TV test signal stripes.

All change for menswear this January

City-hopping is also hot right now, and the Fall 2017 menswear circuit will feature multiple calendar changes, such as Moschino taking to Milan to unveil its menswear collection for the first time during Jeremy Scott's tenure as creative director for the luxury Italian house, on January 14. The brand will use the opportunity to reveal its women's pre-fall collection on the same day. Meanwhile WWD reports that US brand Coach, which has shown for the last three seasons at London Collections: Men, is opting out this year and heading back to New York for a special show on December 8, which will simultaneously debut the brand's 2017 collection and honor its 75th anniversary and new Fifth Avenue store.

Designers Carolina Herrera and Jeremy Scott reveal new collections

(Reuters) – Fashion designer Carolina Herrera celebrated 35 years in the business by taking over The Frick Collection, a museum on Manhattan’s upper eastside, to debut her collection at New York Fashion week on Monday. “This show is very special to me,” Herrera told Reuters, noting she'd like to take some of the looks of her first collection and design “for the woman of today.” The 39 “looks” were tailored but combined with soft edges to maintain the feminine attitude of the brand. The 77-year-old Venezuela native started designing in 1980 in New York and counted her first show among her proudest career moments.

Jeremy Scott sends up NY with erotic ‘Slime City’

Jeremy Scott, the pop art bad boy of American fashion, on Monday unveiled an erotic collection for spring, featuring bondage gear and flying saucer skirts on the New York catwalk. The Los Angeles-based designer, who is also creative director of Italy's Moschino, found inspiration in the Big Apple, sending out the first model with “New York” written in hot pink on a black sweater and dubbing the collection “Slime City” — the 1988 comedy-horror flick. Beloved by his Moschino-wearing followers for his bold, colorful and witty designs, it was a packed house on day five of fashion week with Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Ali Raisman and actress Teyonah Parris in the front row.

Entitled, “Inside Vogue: A Diary Of My 100th Year,” the memoir will document the behind-the-scenes story of Shulman's life during the magazine's landmark anniversary. Commenting on what fans can expect from book Shulman said, “It's written completely contemporaneously. As well as including details on the preparations behind the magazine's 100th issue Shulman will also record important moments from the year surrounding the centennial issue including the opening of the National Portrait's landmark “Vogue 100, A Century of Style” exhibition and the filming of a BBC documentary on the magazine which is due to air in the fall.
