OVS’ ‘Arts of Italy’ fashion capsule celebrates Italian masterpieces

Italy's e-commerce site OVS has released a limited edition fashion capsule called “Arts of Italy,” reports Women's Wear Daily. The collection, which was presented on Wednesday at Milan's 18-century Biblioteca Braidense, will celebrate several of the country's cultural treasures. A portion of sales from the new capsule collection will go towards restoring the cultural artifacts it celebrates.

There was an overwhelming trend for long hair on the runways, with several labels sending their models down the catwalk with luscious strands breezing out behind them. At Vivienne Westwood, the look was rocky and slightly bedraggled for an insouciant look, while over at Calvin Klein the models wore their shoulder-length locks in neat, flicky layers with lashings of shine spray and a slick center parting for added glamour. Giorgio Armani models wore theirs loose and soft.

Luxury menswear fashion site Mr Porter has teamed up with BMW i on a limited edition BMW i3 electric car. Creative teams from both BMW and Mr Porter applied the concept of made-to-measure tailoring to the vehicle, with handcrafted features including individual painting and a hand painted white accent running the length of the chassis, in a nod to the famous garment.
