Rihanna and Manolo Blahnik team up on winter shoe collection

Rihanna's sideline as a shoe designer is proving to be a runaway success, as she prepares to launch a new collection with Manolo Blahnik. The superstar has once again joined forces with the Spanish designer to come up with a trio of winter boots under the name 'Savage', WWD reports. 'Savage' is the sequel to Ri-Ri's debut 'Denim Desserts' collaboration with Manolo Blahnik, which launched back in May. The collection featured six different denim boots, sandals and pumps, each bearing embroidery and embellishment referencing the star's own multiple tattoos.

Puma sees ‘female future’ helped by Rihanna designs

Strong demand for sneakers designed by singer Rihanna helped Puma achieve higher-than-expected sales growth in the fourth quarter and the German sportswear firm said on Thursday a busy sports calendar should help it in 2016. Puma, which fell out of favour as a fashion brand for women, has made tapping into the booming female sportswear market a key part of its strategy for getting back into the race with industry leaders Nike and Adidas . It has appointed Rihanna, famous for hits such as Umbrella, as creative director and the singer launched her first clothing collection for the company last week in New York, a goth-inspired range in black and white sported by models wearing black lipstick.

Rihanna to show Puma collection at New York Fashion Week

In a tweet, Rihanna revealed that her line of Puma sneakers will be hitting the NYFW runway on February 12. On December 8, Rihanna gave away the fact that her Puma by Rihanna collection will be stomping the New York runway. While there has been no formal announcement by her reps or the singer herself, Rihanna's tweet is a link to a Paddle8 auction for two front-row tickets to the show.
