Tommy Hilfiger shares his real-life American Dream

Tommy Hilfiger has had a fashionably successful life, and now he is sharing his journey in a memoir. The US designer, aged 65, has teamed up with writer Peter Knobler on the book, which is titled “American Dreamer: My Life in Fashion and Business” and launches on November 1. “'American Dreamer' is a reflection on my experiences in the fashion industry from the last 30-plus years,” explained Hilfiger.

At New York Bridal Week (October 8-10), the Dutch design duo presented its first full wedding collection for the 2017 fall-winter season. NY Fashion Week adapts to changing designer needs, business models

About 100 designers will showcase their collections at the fashion fest that begins on Thursday. Another theme will be athletic-inspired fashion and street-style looks, popularized by singers Kanye West, Beyonce and Rihanna, whose Fenty Puma collection will be available in pop-up shops and stores this week. “A lot of people are going into this realm and I think it is what people are actually buying too,” said William Kahn, fashion market and accessories director at Hearst Magazines, Town & Country.

Lou Doillon unveiled as the face of J Brand for Fall 2016

Singer-songwriter Lou Doillon is making a return to modelling, having landed the job of fronting J Brand's Fall 2016 campaign.
