Rachel Comey has confirmed she will present her next fashion show in Los Angeles, reports WWD. The New York-based designer has said she wantsto to connect with her clients in Los Angeles, and the local and international fashion communities. Comey follows fellow designers Rachel Zoe, Rebecca Minkoff, and Tommy Hilfiger in heading to LA, with Tom Ford also rumoured to be showing his next collection in the city, possibly around Oscar weekend.

The eagerly awaited Dior spring/summer 2017 show caused a sensation back in September, when the fashion world discovered the label's first collection from Maria Grazia Chiuri, the first female creative director in the history of the French fashion house.

The ready-to-wear label has announced that it has chosen American models Martha Hunt and Jasmine Tookes for its spring/summer 2017 campaign, keeping the “#StrongTogether” concept running for another season. Launched for the fall/winter 2016-2017 season, the “#StrongTogether” campaign is set to return for spring/summer 2017 with a new pair of stars. Martha Hunt and Jasmine Tookes — who are friends in real life — have been signed up to take over from the lovely Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss, who starred as last season's double act for the brand.

Why ‘Greenery’ is set to be the key word in fashion this spring

If you're not yet familiar with the word ‘Greenery' in fashion terms, then you're about to be. Greenery is described as “a fresh and zesty yellow-green shade that evokes the first days of spring when nature's greens revive, restore and renew.” This was certainly one of the major themes of the SS17 shows, where all things botanical reigned supreme. The shade could be seen at Balenciaga, where it was worked into a horticultural-themed jumpsuit, and at Louis Vuitton, where it formed the basis of a head-to-toe asymmetrical cut-out trouser suit with modern black accents.
