The Fashion Awards names the big winners of 2016 in London

Alessandro Michele, Gigi Hadid and Alexander McQueen were just some of the names to claim top prizes at the Fashion Awards 2016 on Monday evening. Stars and key players gathered at London's Albert Hall to toast the winners of the prestigious awards ceremony, hosted by the British Fashion Council, with a focus on both emerging talent and industry legends. Alessandro Michele, credited with breathing new life into Gucci since his tenure at the brand, was awarded the title of 'International Accessories Designer', while the enigmatic Paris-based collective Vetements, which has been shaking up the fashion scene since its edgy debut in 2014, was named 'International Urban Luxury Brand.' One of its founding designers Demna Gvasalia also won the 'International Ready-to-Wear Designer' category for his work at Balenciaga.

Jeremy Scott gets his own Moschino Barbie

Fashion designer Jeremy Scott and supermodel Stella Maxwell caused a stir when they rocked up together to the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards decked out in daring and vibrant outfits by Moschino. 'Moschino Barbie & Ken' sees Barbie modeling a scaled-down version of the label's black velvet and graffiti wrap Fall 2015 gown that Maxwell wore on the red carpet. Scott, transformed into Ken down to the last detail, including his blonde buzz-cut hairstyle, sports a toy version of the custom-made multicolored striped tuxedo and trousers he wore to the event, which he originally designed as a reference to TV test signal stripes.

From a whimsical enchanted winter forest-scape to candy-laden backdrops for festive fashion, New York department stores have spent a year conjuring up eye-catching holiday window displays. “Right when they start coming down, we start thinking about what's going to be the vision for next year?” said Roe Palermo, divisional vice president, store visual of New York department store Lord & Taylor, which is part of Hudson's Bay Co . The store has been creating window displays since 1937 and estimates that a million people pass by the windows daily during the holiday season between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Models wearing spectacular lingerie creations wowed fashions' glitterati on Wednesday night during the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show at the Grand Palais in Paris. The show merges fashion, fantasy and entertainment, according to the company website, and has been attracting well known models, celebrities and musical performers since its inception in 1996. California model Jasmine Tookes, who was chosen to wear a $3 million jewel encrusted “Fantasy Bra”, told Reuters TV she was on edge before hitting the catwalk.

Tommy Hilfiger shuns New York Fashion Week in favor of LA

Tommy Hilfiger is taking to the beach for his Spring/Summer 2017 fashion show, and he could be bringing Gigi Hadid along for the ride. The US designer is shunning New York Fashion Week for Venice Beach, Los Angeles, where he will host 'TommyNow Spring 17' on February 8, he has confirmed. The show will feature both his 'Hilfiger Collection' and the second instalment of the 'TommyXGigi' collaborative capsule created with supermodel Gigi.

India's e-commerce market is forecast to grow to $188 billion in a decade as more and more of its 1.2 billion people log on to smartphones and PCs in the world's fastest-growing internet services market. Players such as Flipkart and Myntra took a page out of Amazon's playbook to offer cash-burning discounts when they launched in 2007 but are now increasingly tailoring their products and experiences to capture a burgeoning Indian market.
