Anthony Vaccarello continues to tease with mysterious Saint Laurent campaign

Anthony Vaccarello has taken to Instagram once more for the second phase of his teasing debut Saint Laurent campaign. The Belgian designer, who was named creative director of the house in April, following Hedi Slimane's departure, has been stirring up interest in his debut collection for the Kering label with a series of mysterious social media posts. The initial phase of the secretive campaign consisted of three video clips that gave no indication of what we can expect from Saint Laurent's clothes, and the latest instalment is not very different.

Iris Apfel to launch collection with Macy’s INC

The 94-year-old American businesswoman and fashion legend has been creating a collection with Macy's INC International Concepts brand, set for launch in September 2016, according to WWD. The collection, entitled “Iris Meets INC” will contain 40 pieces, each inspired by Apfel's iconic 60s Mod style. Macy's, reports WWD, is focusing on attracting a younger audience who respond well to Apfel's unusual, unabashed sense of fashion, confirming the adage that true style has no age limit.

Athleisure leads the way at Milan fashion week

As Milan fashion week heads into its penultimate day, we take a look at some of the trends emerging for Spring / Summer 2017 menswear so far. This was followed up by Philipp Plein's contribution, which blended all-American basketball attire with tailored leather shorts and sharp blazers. Salvatore Ferragamo melded “the spirit and attitude of the artist” with that of “the restless adventurer”, resulting in a whimsical and imaginative show, while Dsquared2 cited “the quiet rebel” as one of the influencers for its artistic, androgynous glam rock collection.

Daphne Guinness makes the transition from fashion to music with new album

Daphne Guinness is taking her artistic talents in a new direction with the launch of her debut music album. The Anglo-Irish heiress, designer, film producer and artist has unveiled the video for the record's first single “The Long Now,” shot in black and white on the streets of Manhattan by the visual artist Luca Pizzaroni. Guinness, 48, styled herself for the clip, in which she sports a dramatic ensemble of sequinned trousers, blazer and tall top hat, complimented by a dark glossy lip and her signature cat eyes.
