Bella Hadid has offered a sneak peek at her debut fashion collection for the LA-based brand Chrome Hearts. The supermodel took some time out from her winter ski vacation in Aspen earlier this week to upload not one, but two, photos to Instagram, in which she sported a patent white biker hat with gold hardware detailing. The biker hat suggests that Hadid's upcoming collection for the accessories brand is set to channel her own '90s streetwear-influenced off-duty style.

Fashion collaborations to watch out for in 2017

From Gigi Hadid and Tommy Hilfiger to Rihanna and Manolo Blahnik, 2016 was a generous year when it came to high-profile fashion collaborations. Supermodel of the moment Bella Hadid is working on her debut jewelry collection with LA brand Chrome Hearts. Details are being kept strictly under wraps, and an official release date has yet to be announced, but the house is known for unique, rock-and-roll-inspired pieces, so we can expect something urban and edgy.

Rihanna bigs up Marie Antoinette in her Paris fashion debut

The singer turned fashion designer said she took the conundrum as the starting point for her debut Paris collection for her Fenty x Puma brand, which showed late Wednesday. Rihanna's answer was lots of slinky lingerie, slip dresses, bodices and pearls. Which seemed all the more appropriate given Marie Antoinette was guillotined during the French Revolution for allegedly urging her starving people to eat cake.

Gwyneth Paltrow launches debut fashion collection

Gwyneth Paltrow has unveiled the first looks from her debut fashion collection, which goes on sale Monday. The award-winning actress-turned-entrepreneur has teamed up with “a small team of designers” on her first clothing line, launched under the umbrella of her Goop lifestyle business under the sub-brand 'Goop Label'. “I wanted to create product that is incredibly high quality and delivered at a great value — I think there's a huge white space in the market for luxurious ready-to-wear at a direct-to-consumer price,” explains Paltrow in a statement.

Supermodel Elsa Hosk is teaming up with n : Philanthropy to front the label's first-ever campaign this fall — a campaign with with a charitable twist. The Victoria's Secret Angel and philanthropist has joined forces with the LA-based contemporary label in supporting the anti-human-trafficking organization Fair Girls. The charity, which works to prevent the exploitation of girls worldwide — a cause close to Hosk's heart — will receive a $200,000 donation from n: Philanthropy's founder Yvonne Niami to mark the debut campaign.

Calvin Klein snaps up ex-Dior designer Simons

US fashion house Calvin Klein on Tuesday announced the appointment of former Christian Dior designer Raf Simons as its new chief creative officer, with his debut collections set for the fall 2017 season. “As part of his role as chief creative officer, Mr Simons will oversee all aspects of design, global marketing and communications, and visual creative services,” the company announced on Facebook. Simons quit as creative director at Christian Dior last October after more than three years at the helm of the French giant.

Simons joins Calvin Klein as chief creative officer

Alexa Chung is launching her own fashion label

Alexa Chung has been designing for some time, but the star is now branching out on her own with the launch of her debut fashion label. The British style icon will act as the Creative Director for Alexachung, set to debut in May 2017, reports The Business of Fashion (BoF). The contemporary ready-to-wear line will go on sale initially at department stores including Selfridges, Galeries Lafayette and Matchesfashion.com, as well as via its own online retail site.
