Five of the biggest supermodels in the world will battle it out Monday evening for the title of International Model 2016 at the British Fashion Awards. The latest cool Brit on the fashion scene has starred in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Roberto Cavalli, Marc Jacobs and H&M, as well as taking to the runway numerous times for DKNY, Fendi and Rihanna's Fenty x Puma, among others. 2016 was the year that Bella Hadid officially gave big sister Gigi a run for her money in the supermodel queen stakes.

Milan Fashion Week: spring/summer 2017 show schedule

After New York (September 8-15) and London (September 16-20), Milan is all set to hold its Fashion Week with a planned schedule of 60 shows. Gucci, Roberto Cavalli, Max Mara, Fendi, Prada, Moschino, Giorgio Armani, and Versace will unveil their collections for the spring and summer of 2017 at a host of innovatively-staged events.

Roberto Cavalli names former Versace head as new CEO

Italian fashion group Roberto Cavalli said on Thursday it had named former Versace head Gian Giacomo Ferraris as its new chief executive as it seeks to relaunch under a new owner. Ferraris, an engineer who also worked for Italian luxury groups Gucci and Prada, radically turned around Versace in his seven years at the company, increasing revenue and cutting debt and bringing it back to profit only two years after being appointed. “The profound knowledge of the sector and the important professional experiences of Gian Giacomo Ferraris will allow Roberto Cavalli to consolidate the path of relaunch that is at the base of the company's development plans,” Cavalli said in a statement.

Timetable for the Fall-Winter 2016 menswear shows in Milan

After London, menswear will move to Milan on January 15 to 19, when the designers will reveal their Fall-Winter 2016-2017 collections and flag up the season's trends. The shows will begin with Roberto Cavalli and end with Helen Anthony.
