Panache updates ‘Modeled by Role Models’ campaign for 2016

Lingerie label Panache has unveiled its latest campaign 'Modeled by Role Models,' celebrating inspirational women from around the world. Among them are Anja Loven, a Danish relief and aid worker who set up the African Children's Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF), and Eliza Rebeiro, the British founder of “Lives Not Knives,” an organization that supports young people in education, employment and training. Plus-sized Canadian model Elly Mayday, who was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer and underwent a hysterectomy at the age of 25, and Scottish fundraiser and neuroblastoma survivor Emily Findlay also help front the campaign.

UK Vogue documentary to air on September 8

Vogue has announced the dates of its upcoming documentary, “Vogue, Absolutely Fashion: Inside British Vogue,” reports British Vogue. The first of the two-episode series will air on BBC Two on September 8 at 9pm.

Mulberry Fall 2016 campaign to explore life’s dualities

Mulberry is unveiling its Fall 2016 campaign, starring twin models Lia and Odette Pavlova, according to Women's Wear Daily. The “Self/Reflection” campaign looks at the dualities in fashion and in life, and features the Pavlova sisters photographed as the reflection of one another. The Mulberry campaign also showcases accessories by the British brand's creative director Johnny Coca, including round-framed sunglasses, studded hoop earrings and the label's new handbag, the Chester.

British Fashion Council focuses on menswear, retail and digital with new board members

The British Fashion Council (BFC) has unveiled three new non-executive directors to its board. British GQ Editor and London Fashion Week Men's Chairman Dylan Jones, Founder and CEO of Farfetch José Neves and CEO of the Guardian Media Group David Pemsel have all been welcomed to the council's board.

Little England takes over Paris catwalks as Britain votes

Cricket jumpers, brogues, boating blazers and even neo-Morris men popped up on the Paris catwalk Wednesday. In what could be interpreted as a last desperate sop to Nigel Farage, the most outspoken of the British Leave campaigners, double-breasted suits and blazers are also back. Van Beirendonck told AFP that the pony club and Morris men motifs throughout his new collection came from a damascene moment in a London flea market.

London Collections Men: Coach channels youthful rebellion for spring 2017

The New-York-based brand presented its spring/summer 2017 menswear collection on the final day of London men's shows, Monday, June 13. Coach tore up conventions in homage to rebellious youth, with an audacious and eclectic collection revisiting American wardrobe staples with a fresh, fun feel. Stuart Vevers, Coach creative director since 2013, unveiled a new menswear collection to an audience of fashion icons, including Kate Moss, who took in one of the most eagerly awaited shows of the British capital's latest menswear week.

The hottest looks from London Collections Men

As London Collections Men wraps up, key trends for menswear 2017 are beginning to emerge from the UK capital. Run by the British Fashion Council, the four-day program of shows, presentations, and installations featured designers such as Aitor Throup, Bobby Abley, Christopher Kane, Cottweiler, Craig Green, Liam Hodges and Oliver Spencer. Day one of the event saw London label Bobby Abley continue to evolve its larger-than-life sportswear aesthetic, complete with cartoonish prints and flashes of neon pink.

London Collections Men: Belstaff goes full throttle with spring/summer 2017 menswear

The British brand presented a carefree spring/summer 2017 collection on the London catwalk, Sunday, June 12, drawing inspiration from a Steve McQueen movie. Leather was firmly on the agenda, as well as suede, denim and patterns inspired by motorcycle racing. The latest Belstaff collection is inspired by the Bruce Brown movie, “On Any Sunday,” starring Steve McQueen and released in 1971.
