Hugo Boss, Vera Wang to skip NY Fashion Week

Hugo Boss and Vera Wang are skipping Fashion Week in New York next February in a sign of the upheaval rippling through the industry. In a presentation to investors, the Hugo Boss group explained it wants to concentrate more on its men's ready-to-wear clothes. The fashion house will take part in late January in the menswear fashion show that precedes Fashion Week for women's wear.

Versus Versace signs Zayn

Pop star Zayn is collaborating with Versus Versace on a new collection, Zayn x Versus, as well as upcoming advertising campaigns. In what could be interpreted as a last desperate sop to Nigel Farage, the most outspoken of the British Leave campaigners, double-breasted suits and blazers are also back. Versace goes coast to coast with urban yet romantic Resort 2017 collection

The Italian fashion house has joined a host of luxury brands in unveiling the shape of its pre-spring 2017 collection. The starting point for this new collection from Donatella Versace is an imaginary coast-to-coast road trip in the USA, traveling from city to sunshine via plains and flower-filled prairies. The result is a collection heavy on urban pieces, lifted with hints of vibrant, electric color, and with softer pieces finished with floral motifs.

Chanel shows Cruise collection in Havana amid color, sparkle and Latin beats

The French fashion house headed to Havana to present its Cruise 2016-2017 collection, Tuesday, May 3, in the brand's first ever Latin American catwalk show. To celebrate the event, Karl Lagerfeld crafted a collection bursting with life, with color and with sparkle, and jam-packed with references to the Caribbean island and the new chapter in its history. It was on the Cuban capital's El Paseo del Prado — a wide boulevard lined with trees and multicolored facades — that the French luxury brand unveiled its new collection, mixing the signature chic of Chanel with vibrant Cuban folklore inspirations.
