What or who inspired this collection? Stella McCartney took the opportunity to emphasize the ethical principles of her brand, splashing phrases such as 'Girls Thanks' and 'No Fur, No Leather' over statement tees. The British designer made use of bright colors and prints for a fun and optimistic aesthetic.

Videos of the event at Paris's Opera Garnier went viral after appearing on social media like Instagram and Facebook. Fashion brands are stepping up their presence on social media to woo young consumers – the buyers of tomorrow – who spend more time online than with traditional media such as glossy magazines and TV.

Valentin Yudashkin: ‘The spring/summer 2017 collection pays respect to the 80s’

On the occasion of Paris Fashion Week (September 27 to October 5), Relaxnews caught up with Valentin Yudashkin, whose spring/summer 2017 collection previews October 4 at 4:30pm. The new collection is centered on a constructive and hard fit with emphasized lines: large male fit jackets with an extended shoulder base, 'grotesque' blazers embroidered with decorative plates, beads and spangles, wide straight fit overcoat-parkas made from delicate tulle and pencil skirts which stress the austerity of the lines. Valentin Yudashkin proposes to combine large jackets with light dresses made from tulle and silk in order to create exquisite and feminine ensembles.

Kim Kardashian robbed by five armed men in Paris hotel: police source

PARIS (Reuters) – Five armed men robbed American reality TV star Kim Kardashian West at gunpoint on Monday in a Paris hotel, stealing jewelry worth several million dollars, but nobody was hurt, a police source told Reuters. The source said the attack happened around 3 a.m.. The source could not immediately say which hotel it was. CNN said earlier that Kardashian was held up by masked men in her Paris hotel room, prompting her husband, rapper Kanye West, to abruptly end a performance in New York, citing a family emergency. …
