Chanel to show next cruise collection in Paris

Chanel has confirmed that the next cruise collection from the design house will be shown in Paris reports WWD. The cruise collection has recently been shown outside of Paris in Seoul and Havana, with the Métiers d'Art collection travelling to Dallas, Edinburgh and Salzburg in the past.

Jeremy Scott to launch fashion career retrospective in Dallas

Jeremy Scott is set to celebrate his 20-year anniversary as a fashion designer with an exhibition at the Dallas Contemporary museum. The show will open in 2017 and will serve as a retrospective of his designs over the course of his career, spanning his position at the head of Moschino as well as his own eponymous label, WWD reports. “It's going to be my 20th anniversary next year, so to have the Contemporary do an exhibition of my work is a very exciting and thrilling moment,” he told the publication, adding that although he has been given the option of using the museum's surface area of 26,000 square feet, he is still thinking about how exactly to utilize the space.

Gwyneth Paltrow to open Goop pop-up store in New York

After conducting practice runs in Los Angeles, Dallas and Chicago, Gwyneth Paltrow will be opening her first pop-up boutique for Goop in New York starting next week. On Monday, November 23, Paltrow will open a brick and mortar shop for her online lifestyle concept at the Time Warner Center in New York, which will showcase a capsule collection in collaboration with Valentino, reports women's trade publication WWD. The Valentino x Goop “Wonder Woman Valentino” collection is overseen by the fashion label's creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.
