On Thursday, its cloisters were the setting for a rather different gathering — a fashion show. The Chopard party is one of the Cannes Film Festival's most eagerly awaited events for stars from the worlds of fashion and cinema. Guests attending the luxury label's bash let their imaginations run wild with a wardrobe mixing pure Cannes glamour with the event's ferocious theme. Although some movie stars did make an appearance at this “wild”-themed Cannes event — organized by luxury brand Chopard — it was mainly the “it girls” and fashion world high-flyers who caught the attention of waiting photographers with a line-up of glamorous gowns.
