Blurring the lines between smart and casual was one of the main trends to come out of NYFW Men's. Michael Kors led the way, teaming smart pea coats with city shorts, anorak trenches with cropped trousers, belted shorts with silk bombers and cotton polo shirts with linen sateen trousers, for an exemplary exercise in dressed-down chic. David Hart X Hart Schaffner Marx also teamed exotic beach shorts and espadrilles with blazers and ties for a playfully ironic twist. Carlos Campos dressed models head-to-toe in whites and creams, injecting a quirkiness into the ensemble with a jaunty necktie.
