London Collections Men: Belstaff goes full throttle with spring/summer 2017 menswear

The British brand presented a carefree spring/summer 2017 collection on the London catwalk, Sunday, June 12, drawing inspiration from a Steve McQueen movie. Leather was firmly on the agenda, as well as suede, denim and patterns inspired by motorcycle racing. The latest Belstaff collection is inspired by the Bruce Brown movie, “On Any Sunday,” starring Steve McQueen and released in 1971.

What to watch for at London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week (LFW) kicks off on Friday, with 83 designers heading to the UK capital to showcase their Autumn / Winter 2016 collections. Revered fashion house Alexander McQueen will return to the schedule for the first time in over a decade for AW16, under the guidance of Creative Director Sarah Burton. The brand will show alongside headline names including Belstaff, Burberry, Christopher Kane, Gareth Pugh, J.W.Anderson and Paul Smith.

London Collections Men: in numbers

Approximately 5,000 cappuccinos will be served at London Collections Men (LCM), which kicks off Friday and sees the cream of British menswear fashion go on show in the UK capital. As fashionistas flock to see the big names such as Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Belstaff and Christopher Kane, all attention will be on the Autumn/Winter 2016 collections.
