After New York, London and Milan, the cream of the fashion world will be heading to the French capital for another round of autumn/winter 2016 catwalk previews. The Paris event runs March 1-9, hosting runway shows in some of the city's most emblematic locations. With the official schedule now finalized, Lucien Pellat Finet is lined up to open Paris Fashion Week, with Moon Young Hee set to close the event.

Milan Fashion Week: this year’s schedule confirmed

Milan Fashion Week, running February 24-29, will see autumn/winter 2016-2017 womenswear collections previewed on the catwalk. Grinko will be first on the runway on February 24, with Piccione.Piccione's ready-to-wear collection closing proceedings on February 29. After Milan, Italy, the fashion world will be heading to Paris for the French capital's fashion week, March 1-9.

Meet Marc Jacobs’ New Muse: Transgender Director Lana Wachowski

As the co–writer and director of the Matrix franchise, Lana Wachowski is well known for her film success and, as a transgender woman, as an advocate and ally to the LGBT community. Now, thanks to a new Marc Jacobs campaign, Wachowksi can add “model” to her list. In the image, Wachowski can be seen smiling as she models a plaid top and cardigan designed by Jacobs. “It is a personal diary of people who have and continue to inspire me and open my mind to different ways of seeing and thinking,” Jacobs continued. And Wachowski is first up on Jacobs’ list of inspirations.

Making a Murderer’s Dean Strang is a fashion icon

Both seemed like truly decent, extremely intelligent people — 21st century Atticus Finches with only very slightly updated eyewear. J.W.Anderson drives fashion’s digital overhaul by broadcasting show on gay app Grindr

J.W.Anderson is taking social media use to a whole new level by livestreaming his upcoming catwalk show on the popular gay networking app Grindr. The UK label's Autumn/Winter 2016 menswear runway show will be broadcast from London Collections Men on the app on January 10, where it will run in a loop for 24 hours. The news marks the first time that the all-male lifestyle focused social network, which uses location-based technology to bring together a global community of users in 192 countries, has dipped its toe into the designer fashion sphere.
