Following ready-to-wear designers and fashion houses on social media is a fabulous way to take in Paris Fashion Week. The creative director of women's collections at Louis Vuitton often post shots of campaigns and catwalk shows (among other things) to his Instagram account. As well as being treated to pictures of Vuitton's new collection, his 325,000 followers could get a look behind the scenes at the upcoming Paris show, and maybe even the after-show party.

Gucci's reinvention of womenswear's hottest megabrand continued Wednesday as designer Alessandro Michele tweaked his hugely successful androgynous, anti-fashion recipe with dashes of street art and grunge. For his third womenswear collection for the venerable Florentine house, Michele worked with the Brooklyn artist called GucciGhost, best known for his graffiti involving versions of the brand's famous logo. Two examples are used in prints splashed across many of the clothes Michele unveiled for the upcoming Autumn and Winter to a feedback-rich soundtrack in a converted railway shed.

Luxury hotel Claridge's has joined forces with style bible British Vogue to celebrate the magazine's upcoming fashion exhibition. The package includes an overnight stay at the Art Deco hotel as well as two tickets to the upcoming exhibition “Vogue100: A Century of Style” at the city's National Portrait Gallery. Two manicures at the Claridge's Health Club & Spa, champagne upon arrival to the hotel, breakfast for two and a copy of the Vogue100 exhibition catalogue, signed by the curator and British Vogue's Contributing Editor Robin Muir, also form part of the deal.

As the co–writer and director of the Matrix franchise, Lana Wachowski is well known for her film success and, as a transgender woman, as an advocate and ally to the LGBT community. Now, thanks to a new Marc Jacobs campaign, Wachowksi can add “model” to her list. In the image, Wachowski can be seen smiling as she models a plaid top and cardigan designed by Jacobs. “It is a personal diary of people who have and continue to inspire me and open my mind to different ways of seeing and thinking,” Jacobs continued. And Wachowski is first up on Jacobs’ list of inspirations.

J.W.Anderson is taking social media use to a whole new level by livestreaming his upcoming catwalk show on the popular gay networking app Grindr. The UK label's Autumn/Winter 2016 menswear runway show will be broadcast from London Collections Men on the app on January 10, where it will run in a loop for 24 hours. The news marks the first time that the all-male lifestyle focused social network, which uses location-based technology to bring together a global community of users in 192 countries, has dipped its toe into the designer fashion sphere.
