J.W. Anderson is teaming up with A$AP Rocky on a capsule menswear collection launching this summer. The fashion label and the rapper have come up with pieces including two knitted beanies, two knitted tracksuit tops and two teddy fur jackets, focusing on high-grade faux teddy fur and merino wool. The move is a natural progression for the singer, an established brand ambassador for the label, headed by Jonathan Anderson.

Country music star Dustin Lynch launches own fashion line

Country music star Dustin Lynch has launched his own fashion label titled “Stay Country,” with the first offering to include a selection of hats, shirts for both men and women. The collection is specifically comprised of two hats ($20), six men's shirts ($30-$45) and three women's ($30), with the range to be promoted via Lynch's social media platforms, in addition to his website (via WWD). The line will also be sold at stands at both his and Luke Bryan's shows this summer, with plans to incorporate retail distribution at a later date.

King of rock star chic Hedi Slimane leaves YSL

Designer Hedi Slimane — the man credited with creating the skinny jeans look — has left the French fashion label Yves Saint Laurent Friday after four years at the brand. One of the hottest properties in fashion, Slimane remade the brand in his own rock 'n' roll image. In what now seems a highly symbolic gesture, he kissed the late Yves Saint Laurent's partner after presenting his final show for the label last month in Paris before disappearing backstage.

Courtney Love teams with Nasty Gal for fashion line

Rocker Courtney Love has joined forces with LA-based fashion label Nasty Gal to create a “killer collaboration, coming soon,” according to the brand. Nasty Gal quickly followed the first post with further related news, announcing a contest via its site and social media offering winners the chance to attend a launch party with Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso and Love in Los Angeles on January 13. The collaboration has been touted as a perfect match for the vintage rocker and label, with both parties bringing attitude in spades, and marks a departure for Nasty Gal from its previous partnerships with brands such as For Love & Lemons and Lazy Oaf, Teva, Jeffrey Campbell, Line & Dot and OneTeaspoon and MAC Cosmetics.

This week, fashion label & Other Stories unveiled a headline-grabbing lingerie campaign that hadn't been anywhere near an airbrushing tool. Featuring models with underarm hair, tattoos and scars, the campaign went viral almost instantly, being labelled as everything from “kickass” to “brave” in the global media. Starring a blogger, a cellist and a copywriter showcasing its collection of unfussy lacy bras, underwear and bodies, the 'For Women, By Women' campaign appears to have struck a chord with women all over.
