Fashion brand Solid Homme coming to the US market

According to the online retailer, Solid Homme fills a gap in the market, offering a compromise between designer and contemporary looks. Mr Porter will offer 21 pieces — from footwear to apparel to accessories — from Solid Homme's fall collection, inspired by French painter Matisse and ranging in price from $200 to $1,185. Solid Homme was founded in 1988 by Woo Youngmi and is sold in 25 stores across Korea.

Mr Porter and BMW launch a bespoke i3 electric car

Luxury menswear fashion site Mr Porter has teamed up with BMW i on a limited edition BMW i3 electric car. Creative teams from both BMW and Mr Porter applied the concept of made-to-measure tailoring to the vehicle, with handcrafted features including individual painting and a hand painted white accent running the length of the chassis, in a nod to the famous garment. It also comes complete with a Mr Porter Essentials Travel Kit comprising a BMW leather holdall, a London undercover umbrella, a special edition Leica camera, Cutler & Gross sunglasses, a Lock & Co bowler hat and a bespoke edition of a Phaidon City Guide Book.

Menswear purveyor Mr Porter announced on Tuesday the launch of Dries Van Noten SS16 on its retail website. Famed as one of the original ‘Antwerp Six', Dries Van Noten is known for his elegant and yet avant-garde pieces, as well as clean cuts and impeccable attention to detail thanks to his family's history of tailoring.
