By Piya Sinha-Roy LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The owner of a luxury house featured most notably in the 1998 film comedy “The Big Lebowski,” is donating it to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with the hope that people will build more architecturally creative homes. James Goldstein, owner of the Sheats Goldstein residence nestled in the Los Angeles hills, has promised to leave the unique building, along with its gardens, art pieces and his fashion collection, to the museum so that it will one day be open to the public. “Los Angeles should represent a city that's contemporary and moving into the future,” Goldstein told Reuters in an interview.

Lady Gaga walked the runway for American design legend Marc Jacobs in a triumphant finale to New York Fashion Week following collections from Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Jacobs, the darling of the US fashion scene, prides himself on closing out the twice yearly Big Apple fashion bonanza by putting on extravagant spectaculars — and Thursday was no exception. It was a collection of Gothic fantasy filled with oversized outfits in which models sported incredible lace-up platform boots that added to their height as large clothes obscured their slender frames.

US lingerie and loungewear brand Aerie has named longtime #AerieReal girl and UK pin-up Iskra Lawrence as its new #AerieReal Role Model. “Aerie shares my values in uplifting women, building their confidence and embracing the unique qualities that make us all beautiful,” says Lawrence, who has been vocal about encouraging natural beauty on her social media accounts and fashion and beauty site RunwayRiot. “I got told I wasn't good enough and I could never make it and then Aerie told me I was beautiful because I was me,” she explains in a new video.
