A 28-year-old Thai woman has become an Internet sensation overnight after she posted her own version of a high fashion gown that's made from bags of prawn crackers. Sine Benjaphorn is a plus-size model and owner of a clothing store in Ratchaburi, a province west of Bangkok, Thailand. The gown that she chose to replicate was a peach layered gown that Thai actress, Chompoo Araya wore to a L'Oreal event during the recent Cannes Film Festival. According to Benjaphorn, she was inspired after seeing pictures of Araya and went out to buy bags of prawn crackers — a popular savoury snack — to sew them together. The end result from the colour down to the layering and wavy texture is uncanny. After posting a side-by-side comparison of her posing in the gown on the streets with Araya's red-carpet picture on May 12, Benjaphorn's post quickly went viral on Facebook, with many netizens praising her for her talent — both in design and comedy. “I’m shocked. Thai fashionista recreates designer gown with bags of prawn crackers
(Reuters) – Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West, who says he is $53 million in debt, has asked Facebook Inc's Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion into his “ideas.” West asked his Twitter followers to urge Zuckerberg to support him. “World, please tweet, FaceTime, Facebook, instagram, whatever you gotta do to get Mark to support me … West tweeted. West, who claimed he was “still 53 million dollars in personal debt,” said that people do not give money to “real artists” like him but rather open schools in Africa.

Fashion brand Sisley has announced on its Instagram page that British singer Skin, lead singer of the band Skunk Anansie, is the new face of the brand's SS16 campaign. Luxury fashion house Dior has released images of its new SS16 ready-to-wear campaign on Instagram. The new collection has been shot by legendary photographer Patrick Demarchelier. In addition to the images captured by Demarchelier, Dior also invites fans on their Instagram page to “dive deeper” into the collection that “swings between avant-garde and timeless femininity” with their new campaign video, directed by Gordon von Steiner.
